Lola's has a comfortable vibe with a menu of classic American food. Our dishes will inspire and be consistent in flavor, quality and ingredients. We are implementing a renowned and very unique cocktail list with an added "Zero-Proof" menu. We included a fabulous wine list. A sidewalk cafe option will be available for dining.



Forster is a tenured Executive Chef that brings a balance of a business savvy approach and an extreme attention to detail when it comes to taste and the experience of eating great food.  Forster has coordinated the development and construction of a professional kitchen for restaurant openings a few times now.   His most recent background is setting up Dolly Varden NYC and running Au Cheval in New York. Before that he brings a long history of launching and backing new restaurants in Chicago, including Fremont-Four Corners, SteakBar, Smackshack, Rootstock Wine Bar, Publican Quality Meats/The Publican, Wyler Road, and Canal street Market and eatery.  Forster believes that every detail of the eating experience matters - from the heat of the bun on a burger to the ambient music in the background. He is a quality driven and passionate professional Chef with experience in developing innovative and eclectic menus with extensive experience in the food industry. He has strong beliefs that the culture he builds for his staff is a direct reflection of his food, easy-going, yet refined, approachable with an emphasis on attention to detail!
